Meet a selection of our favourite characters from and around Thistlecross Hollow. All characters have been handmade (some even hand stitched!) with love and care, right here in the heart of rural Parakai, just north of Auckland, New Zealand. When creating animals from a magical world that lies within my own imagination, it really helps to live in a place where I can be sewing at the same time as looking out the window onto a paddock full of cows, wild bunnies, and hidden families of field mice, as it makes me feel like I am living on the fringes of Thistlecross Hollow itself!
